Stomp stomp I've arrived
So, I found this website recently that me thinks is pretty awesome. It's basically this site where dykes from all over the world (or so I assume, they're fairly diverse) take pictures depicting lesbian pride. Or just lesbians hanging out. But a lot of the photography is really nicely done, great quality, and surprisingly it's not all porn. Some of it kind of is, like maybe 5%, but most of it is PG and awesome. http://fuckyeahdykes.tumblr.com/
When I was first looking through it it got me thinking, though. I love gay pride and all, but... the fact that it's becoming a fad rather than an acceptance thing kinda bugs me. Meh. The idea of pansexuality has also been bugging me, but for different reasons.
This weekend I've been mostly channeling my rage and anger through: facebook, cursing, and almost breaking my viola. Yep. Fun times. I just love going to my dad's.

I took a look at the 'site - there were some really awesome pictures there. I agree with you about the "acceptance vs. fad" thing - there's a lot of people who, in response to some of the really aggressive-conservatives (the ones who shove Bible quotes down your throat and try go out in lynch mobs), will be really aggressive about their sexuality and force *that* down our throats too.

(Another thing that pisses me off, and is kinda going off of your mention of pansexuality, is when people confuse bisexual with pansexual. Or bisexual with nymphomania. Pisses. Me. Off. Lots.)
