So... I should have written this earlier. Now I'm tiiiiiirrrred. And want pizza. T_T
I believe I'm supposed to write about these pieces, my theme, and where it's going? I think? If not, then... that'll suck. :/
I drew these when I FINALLY got some descent pens, and started to have fun with the 'tattoo' design of them. I've got a knack for drawing realistic, and I'm good at swirly design fun- so why not combine it? I'm going to redo the first two projects we did this year, and fix them up to work with the theme- even though it's still mutating- and hopefully have them work. My theme- as of yet- is basically 'screwed perception', and plays with the proportions of objects while adding descent line quality and dots to them. Ooooh so many dots... :) I'm hoping that it generally stays with this style- I like changing EVERYTHING to different things constantly. Which is why my next project isn't going anywhere... I can never make up my mind- so I need to either stick with one medium or work quickly before I want to change it too much. Which has happened before...

I actually kind of planned these two projects- I drew some sketches, tested the idea of the piece before finalizing it on nice fancy paper- and they turned out nicely. I also didn't spend too much time on them. A couple days, maybe? It was just like, "INPIRATION! YESSSS! I HATH FOUND YOUUUU IN THE MAGICAL PENS OF AWESOME!!!!" And BAM. Awesome sauce and cut up hands.

Yes, those are drawings of my foot and hand. I did the second one in pencil on Friday, and then Saturday I got bored and decided to try out drawing from obsevation in pen. I think it worked out pretty good, especially since I didn't use eraser. :)

I need to draw more things than just my hands and feet... although hands are supposedly 'hard', they're getting rather... simple... :/ Maybe I should draw some boobs or something...

Yeah... so I've got a new style that I've been working out. :) Basically I'm combining my love for- portraits, pen, randomosity, and tattoo/twisty swirly desgins. These are three examples of them so far.

I don't really have much to say about my art style at the moment... it's pretty basic, and I'm actually getting some work done in class. I'm thinking WAY too much about my projects and thus killing them but it's alright. 'Every little thing is gunna be all right....'

Although, life is confusing....

Like, me and a friend realized something the other day- okay, mostly me, but my friend contributed- that today's media is fucking with our MINDS. Haha, just kidding. We already knew that. What I didn't realize before was that the gay media focuses on indiscrimination and the bad parts of being gay waaaay too much- like, with most movies starring homosexual characters, you have to sit through two hours of HATE, PAIN, DEATH, HATE, STUPIDITY, and (mostly the lesbian movies directed towards the bigoted male population) lesbian PORN. Although a lot these movies are based on fact (hate, pain, death, discrimination, etc.), it's kinda depressing and for a youngin' such as myself- that's blossoming in this fucked up world- it doesn't leave a very happy impression on life. It's like... yes, I see that in the future I will be discriminated against, but until then, I'm not being hurt now and would rather think happy thoughts than 'GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HATE HATE HATE WISH I WAS HETERO HATE HATE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.' .... we need more happy gay movies. Just sayin'.

Another thing- why do the people I date 1. do drugs 2. steal things 3. cheat on girlfriends or 4. have a fucked up childhood? Yes, Lake Oswego is natorious for having messed up parents raising fucked up children- but COME ON. (not dissing anyone specifically... just the general-i-ness of my expriences) It's like, 'hey, you seem pretty cool and you like me back' 'yeah! let's date!' 'woo hoo!' 'Yeah! and ignore the decomposing bodies in my closet!' '... okay...' 'and the mutilated puppy' '...okay...' 'I love you... and also ignore my hand as I steal your ipod....' '......................................................................................no.'
